Edwin Chan

Edwin is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, holding a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He began his career at Ernst & Young LLP, where he rose quickly through the ranks to become a Manager. His early career laid a strong foundation in finance and operations, with a focus on optimizing performance and building scalable processes.

In 2014, Edwin joined Purpose Investments, where he has held a series of progressively senior roles. His leadership has spanned finance, operations, and innovation, contributing to the firm’s growth and evolution over more than a decade.

Currently serving as Vice President, Innovation, Edwin brings a cross-functional perspective that combines financial discipline with a passion for driving new ideas. His journey reflects a strong belief that innovation in asset management must be rooted in rigorous execution, thoughtful risk management, and a deep understanding of evolving investor needs.
